The Case of Itaewon Homicide

"I'll show you something cool. Come with me!"

Yes, yes, I watched the movie because of Jang Geun Suk but I was also intrigued about this movie. Before I watched the movie, I researched about it and found out that the movie was based on a true homicide case and it was still unsolved. I'm a sucker for "based on a true story" movies. So, I searched it on SUBBED DRAMAS and MOVIES!!! and fortunately it was there!

During the movie, I was wondering how the director pictured the scenes. There are the suspects statements and descriptions of the events but of course we really don't know what really happened during the murder and court trials. The prosecutor playing in the movie, is it really the prosecutors story of the whole murder case or was it just fictional stories? That got me confused. Anyways,

Ever been trapped in a man's body?

I was hesitant to watch this drama at first but as I go through the drama, it was actually worth it. I actually watched this drama because of Jang Geun Suk. After watching You're My Pet, I developed a tiny crush on him. From You're My Pet to Love Rain to You're Beautiful to The Case of Itaewon Homicide to Baby & Me, and now I'm currently watching Mary Stayed Out All Night! Jang Geun Suk fever!

Not really fond of a drama where the lead actress pretends to be a guy, but I think some people love it. *shrugs* Even though it's just a drama, how can anyone not know that someone might be a girl just dressing up to be a guy? I mean, wouldn't it be obvious? Anyways!

"If you hear this. Answer me."

The sound you'll hear is the dial-up internet. Before, people used dial-up internet. People who grew up in those time will still be familiar to the annoying sound when you're trying to connect to the internet, the frustration when the connection failed and you're temper will surely rise when someone picks up the phone while you're using the internet. The most famous line from those days, "Get off the computer, I have to use the phone." Ah! The good old days!

The drama starts in their 2012 school reunion then goes back to 1997 to 2012 to 2013 then back again. You might think you'll get confused but it's actually a smooth transition of flashbacks. In the reunion, one couple will announce their wedding. Hmm? Who could that be?
